On September 29th, Pressalit A/S won the most prestigious Corporate Social Responsibility award in Denmark, called the CSR People Prize, in front of a host of other companies. Winning the CSR People Prize brings formal recognition of Pressalit as a prime mover in the fields of sustainability and inclusivity.
The jury’s reasons for choosing Pressalit were, among other things, that corporate social responsibility is a truly integrated part of the company’s business strategy and activities, and the fact that Pressalit keeps thinking innovatively in the field of CSR initiatives, e.g. by integrating marginalized society groups in new job functions. Furthermore the jury appreciated Pressalit’s sharing of it's good news story with society at large, thus making CSR a natural part of the Pressalit brand.
“We are very proud to receive such a fantastic award as the CSR People Prize – an award that is also known as the Danish business world’s ‘order of knighthood’. I would like to dedicate the CSR People Prize to all Pressalit staff, because it is a reflection of their efforts,” said Dan Boyter happily, when he accepted the award on behalf of Pressalit.
