Milestones
Pressalit – or Dansk Pressalit Industri as it was originally known – was founded in 1954. The company’s core business area was the production of toilet seats, while the development of aids for the handicap sector began 20 years later – in 1974.

The Pressalit Rehab brand is launched – with a wash basin bracket, a shower chair and a raised toilet |

Production starts in Ry |

Rehab is introduced in the UK at a trade fair – and the BBC covers the launch with a TV crew |

New Rehab factory, fittings factory, machine factory and design centre |

The wall track and flexible system are introduced |

Pressalit obtains ISO 9001 certification (Quality assurance) |

Pressalit obtains ISO 14001 certification (Environment) |
| 2000-2001 |
Pressalit Care becomes a separate division and formulates its own mission and vision |

Beta System becomes part of Pressalit Group A/S |
| 2004 |
Keep Living – now also in the kitchen. The first Pressalit Care kitchen is presented at the Rehab Scandinavia 2004 trade fair |
