The office in Augustenborggade Århus had also been extended over the years. All the street level shops in the block of flats had been taken over by Pressalit.

The legislation did not allow for additional non-residential tenancies, and since the offices eventually had become quite inadequate for the still growing number of people, something had to be done.

A scanning of the available business premises in the Århus-area did not bring out any satisfactory solution, so finally it was decided to build a new administration center in Ry. The original plan was, of course, to place the building in connection with the factory, but for various reasons that turned out not to be feasible. Instead the center was placed in Ry East – the socalled Maglehøj area.

In the summer 1991, the new premises were ready to be taken into use, and the app. 50 administrative employees moved from office slum (Mogens Boyter’s description) to spacious and beautiful premises in Ry.
