In 1991 Pressalit presents “the new generation of toilet seats”, model 2000, model 3000, model 4000. The latter with quick-release hinges. (By pressing a button, the seat is released, and seat and toilet can be thoroughly cleaned individually). This was the first and not especially successful attempt. But the efforts to combine innovative form with new technique continued: Zenzit (1995) has soft landing, self-sustain and quick-release. “It looks like a Mercedes”, exclaimed a guest to our show-room once. We took it as a compliment.

Zenzit’s wooden sister Zenzit Madera (1997) achieves international distinctions for innovative design and is awarded with the internationally acknowledged IF (Industrie Forum) Design Award.

At the same time, Zenzit – Sense it – is the first indication of the present pay-off “Seats for your senses”.
