In August 1998 Mogens Boyter dies – quite suddenly and completely unexpected. His death causes shock and sorrow at Pressalit and everywhere else Mogens Boyter had been active.

Kim Boyter takes over as managing director together with his two brothers Dan Boyter and Erik Boyter. All three of them had already for many years been employed in Pressalit, prepared – of course – that one day they were to take over after their father.

In the the next couple of years, Pressalit Care (bathroom solutions for people with disabilities) is gradually separated from Pressalit (seats) and given a new, independent profile: new logo and motto, own management, own line organisation, new strategy.

In the course of 2000, the divisioning is fully implemented, and the new company structure is a reality: Pressalit Group A/S as a concern with three independent divisions Pressalit, Pressalit Care and Saniscan.
